An Analogy to Matthew 13:33
He [Jesus] told them another parable. “The kingdom of heaven is like leaven that a
woman took and hid in three measures of flour, till it was all leavened.”

In the same way that a small amount of leaven is needed to permeate flour and make it rise,
only a small number of people are needed to nip conflict in the bud throughout the church.

What People Have Said
A Pennsylvania church member reported, "Ken came to our small church after a crisis of leadership caused a deep split in the congregation. There were many wounds that needed to be addressed and Ken and his wife were given the unenviable task of dealing with the aftermath through his Peacemaking seminar. Through his teaching style, his firm grasp of the issues, and his deep concern for the members of the congregation, he helped us to move forward to a point where we were able to look to the future instead of dwelling on the past.... As the result of Ken's influence, our church has established a Peacemaking Committee to head off similar future problems. I have been privileged to be the head of this committee since it's inception."
An Oregon pastor wrote, "You left us with not only an enjoyable experience, but with a system complete with trained staff, training materials and procedural guidelines. We feel equipped to assimilate this ministry in to the life of our congregation and to keep it alive for years to come. Ken, thank you again for your time, your energy, and your insights into conflict resolution and healthy communication. We truly enjoyed our time with you."
From the same Oregon church, the newly appointed Directors of Peacemaking wrote:  “Ken, I wanted to write to you and tell you 'thank you'. Your information and teaching on 'Peacemaking' and conflict resolution is exactly what our church was looking for. I think this will help our church immensely. The binder full of information and the videos with the examples will also allow us, as directors, to train new informal mediators and keep the current ones 'up to speed'.  Since the weekend of your seminar, I have had several people tell me how much they appreciated your sermon on Sunday, and that they look forward to seeing this program get going. There is a good deal of much energy surrounding the program already....  Carol and I would strongly recommend this program for any church that has had explosive conflicts as well as any church wanting to mature in their inter-personal fellowship.”
A Pennsylvania pastor  [a different PA church from above] stated, "Ken has a wonderful gift of teaching and a clear understanding of scripture and how conflict resolution should be accomplished in the church....  His power point presentation on the process of mediation in the church to resolving conflict was excellent."
